This policy explains what personal information growthGrid Studio (“growthGrid”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit growthgrid.studio or contact us, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, company and a description of your project.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the website secure and reliable.
- Usage analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used (for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4, and advertising features are switched off.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we never sell or rent personal information.
Cookies
The site works without any cookies. We only set analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_, lasting up to 13 months) after you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings* link in the footer; declining removes the analytics cookies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a potential project.
- To prepare proposals and, if we work together, to deliver and manage the engagement.
- To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Legal basis
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process enquiry data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Sharing your information
We share personal information only with trusted service providers that help us run the studio — for example website hosting, email and document storage — and only to the extent they need it to provide their service. They are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, project records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet legal and accounting requirements. Server logs are retained for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@growthgrid.studio. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.
International transfers
We are a remote-first studio and our providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
